Your voice token is your introduction, feelings and thoughts which you want to share with others on Taken. Please note that a voice token is necessary to enter the dating pool and be visible to other users.
Photos are revealed after both users have chosen to connect with each other from the dating pool.
A right slide from both sides means a catch, and voila, you can see how your mystery catch looks like.
Every user can leave their reactions to other users in the dating pool. Reactions are not compulsory and you can also slide on to the next user.
Yes, Taken is free to use for everyone. Subscriptions unlock some extra cool features.
Premium plans offer features like unlimited catches, slides and likes, viewing received interests, changing location for the dating pool and extra booms.
You can upgrade to a premium plan through the app’s subscription section. You can purchase extra booms too!
No, you can’t cancel your premium subscription, once purchased.
To increase your chances of finding a compatible catch, be authentic and expressive with your voice token. Take the time to listen attentively to potential matches’ voice tokens and trust your instincts when initiating conversations.
It’s a super slide and a private, custom voice note you can send across for a user.
If you feel a profile has misleading information or harassing, you can directly go on the profile and go to the right top corner to report and block.

The Interest Meter is essentially a community feedback system for you. It provides valuable feedback from other users to help you improve your profile and interactions on Taken.
You can delete your account by going to the app’s settings and selecting the “Delete Account” option.
Go to Profile Section -> Click on Customer Service -> Ask you Queries.
Taken works on a Monday to Sunday game cycle basis, where users upload their token to enter the dating pool. Each game cycle will have a set limit of catches and booms available for users. The cycle will be reset and users may see each other over multiple (but not consecutive) game cycles.
You will be removed from the dating pool. You can buy a subscription for unlimited catches or wait till the next game cycle.
